Torrential rainfall in Bugisu region cause mudslides and floods leaving whole Villages have been flooded with water, mud and stones, damaged roads and bridges, and landslides. These floods caused severe damage to life, property, homes, businesses, and crops, affecting many people in the region. People are hungry, thirsty, and living in makeshift shelters on higher ground or with generous persons who are letting them stay into their homes while they try to rebuild their own lives. In response to this tragedy, we launched a fundraising campaign through which we hope to provide relief for those affected by these tragic circumstances.
